A post-election message from Nate...

Dear Friends,

I'm sorry I can't report better news from our campaign, but I wanted to thank you one more time for being willing to put in so much of your personal time and hard-earned money into our campaign. While we did not win this time, we nonetheless sent a message that we need change in Madison, too, to get us back on the right track.

I made the decision to run because my life experiences called me to do so this year in particular. I still remember the uncertainty that came along with my father being laid off from his job when I was young, and as a diabetic since age six, I know how much we need affordable health care that's always there. I am pleased that Democrats in the State Assembly will now have the opportunity to work on these issues in earnest over the next two years with the new majority they've been given.

In the meantime, let's continue to celebrate all that we've achieved in this election, but also prepare to work for the change we've sought now that the results are official.

Thank you again,
Nate
